Starting from the school years I have been the resolute voice that represents the young community in my home country - Kazakhstan. My youth did not prevent me from achieving significant heights in the promotion of youth intercultural dialogue and international cooperation in a variety of fields including environmental cooperation, human rights advocacy, cultural exchange, and educational initiatives.

I am Orkhan Bayramov from Azerbaijan, Caucasian region. I live in a city called Sumgait which is the 2nd biggest city in the country. Since 2016, I have contributed as a volunteer to my organization called ‘’Common Sense’’ Youth Organization. Currently, I am working as a Youth Worker in the same NGO. Our objectives are fighting against pollution and smoking in our society, engaging vulnerable youth in volunteering. I am Roger Delamou, born in the South-East of Guinea, at the foot of the Nimba Mountains, which dominate the surrounding savannahs and are an area of great ecological wealth. Their slopes are covered with dense forests classified by WWF as Guinean altitude forest, which attracted the attention of naturalists who have devoted important studies to flora and fauna since the colonial period.

Meet the Team: Rinzin Dorji

I am Rinzin Dorji from Bumthang, Bhutan. Bhutan is a tiny Himalayan Kingdom rich in biodiversity, covered in 71 % of its geographic area by forest and 51% by protected areas. I work under the Department of Forests and Park Services in Bhutan since 2013 after completion of my Bachelors of Science (Hons.) in Forestry from India. Bhutan is one of the very few countries in the world to feature environmental conservation explicitly in its Constitution and mandates that “a minimum of 60% of the land is under forest cover for all times to come”.
