Meet the Team: Roman Shrestha

I am Roman Shrestha,  born in a small nation of Nepal tucked between the gorgeous mountains of the Himalayas and the lost jungles of the Terai. Since my early age I had a great affection towards nature. I loved to start my day with the sunrise over the himalayas, listening to the chirping of the birds and observing the beauty of the forests and rivers. Becoming aware of Human Nature Projects, I felt it is my time as well as opportunity for me to step forward and drive the progress of this powerful vision.

I would want to initiate and mobilize the Human Nature Group in my region/ country Nepal, have it registered with local authorities as the affiliate of Human Nature Projects then derive our  mandate from our mother body and work collectively for a common goal. I believe that if we want something to happen in this world, it is we ourselves who can make it happen.

I'd like to initiate the process of nature conservation and develop this project within my region and thus devoting myself to start now in creating the proper structures in areas that include: strategy development, project draft formulation, advising the Conservation Connection network on avenues for growth and directing the networking working group. I believe that with the proper coordination of our executive members as well as our dear volunteers, we shall surely be able to conserve our mother Earth.
