Meet the Team: Vineeta Gupta

National Director, Australia

Hi, my name’s Vineeta Gupta and I’m from Tassie in the South of Australia. I am a Bachelor of Science student majoring in Zoology and Microbiology.

My love for the environment and the animals that inhabit our planet stems from the natural beauty my city offers and having had the privilege to have grown up in an environment where bush walking through mountain ranges and snorkelling in kelp forests was a common occurrence. Being a passionate environmentalist, I believe that it’s high time that we stand up for the rights of all things living and act to save what we’ve learnt to take for granted.

Joining the Human Nature Projects is an opportunity for me to voice my views and beliefs that people, animals and our environment hang in a delicate balance, much like a food web; if you were to remove a species it would upset the balance. Similarly, if we do not act to protect our environment and the animals surrounding us, we as a species will also fall.

Through Human Nature Projects, I believe that it is possible to show people that as individuals we hold the power to inspire change, and as communities (local, national and global) we have the power together to create this future as we imagine it.
